Tonight's dinner

 

Bought a small chuck roast earlier this week, and decided to make it today. Seasoned it and browned it well in my dutch oven and then added quartered potatoes, carrots, and some mushrooms, along with some water. Smells so good cooking slowly in my oven. Does your family like to eat beef roast? My hubby loves it.

 My current work in progress is a Barbara Ana Design: Love Never Fails.

 I started this back in October 2021. I am using the called for DMC floss on 32 ct Dirty Linen.

I am closing in on finishing the first half of it.

It's been a fun stitch and I love it.

FInally!

 Finally, I am getting a blog set up. I have been wanting to do this for the longest time. I love doing my crafts, I enjoy looking at other craft and stitching blogs, and I thought it would be awesome to throw my hat in the ring. It will enable me to look back at when I started things, chart my struggles and be a basic journal about my crafting. I also hope to start an Etsy shop with a wide variety of items. I hope you enjoy following along. I may get chatty at times, but some of my favorite blogs are like that- friendly, chatty, like having a good friend and keeping up with them.

Right now my focus has been cross stitch, but I also love to crochet, sew, quilt, and knit- all the things. Probably will have some cooking thrown in for good measure.
